About the Image(s)

I took this photo a while ago and made minor adjustments in ACR. I then brought it into Topaz Simplify to give it a painted look, adding the white edging and a narrow stroke. I also increased the canvas size. I made a selection of a pair of flip flop sandals from another photo and changed the color of the sandals to a shade that would complement the greenery in this image. I then placed them in a spot that would give an “out-of-box” effect to the image. I call the photo Flip Flop Summer but I’m just not sure if it works as a successful creative photo. As always, your comments and suggestions are appreciated.

Yes it does work because of the simplicity. Some creative stuff can become so complicted but here you have kept things simple. I'm a great fan of Topaz Simplify and it's versatility is well demonstrated here. This image could well find it's place on the wall of a coffee shop. Excellent.   Posted: 07/19/2017 03:10:49
