November 2020 - Rusty lorry detail

About the Image(s)

Found this rusty lorry in Colorado some years ago. Taken with Canon 650 D, f5, 18-55mm lens at 42mm. Little work done in processing - having great difficulty with Photoshop. This month's updates doesn't work!

If all this rust could talk, who knows how many stories it would tell. Great photo with lots of details and texture. Very sharp and great impact. Well done

Nice color and texture, enough items are included for the viewer to identify this as an old truck. Neat!

Wonderful Image. You can feel the rust. Like the cropping and texture. Well seen and well done.   Posted: 11/09/2020 18:06:30

Wonderful image! The colors and textures are excellent! I know sometime PS can really be difficult. I think I'm on a first name basis with Adobe! If I may suggest, but it's not a big deal, perhaps I would have healed out the white peeling (?) paint on what I think is either a siren or turning light! Great job!   Posted: 11/11/2020 16:49:27

These types of images are some of my very favorite ones to shoot....old cars, rust, details, etc. However, if this one were mine I might consider cropping all of the left side off and concentrating on the very old rusty light and handle, which to me are the main subjects, making this a vertical rather than a horizontal...good seeing....the shadows help add depth also...   Posted: 11/20/2020 13:10:11

Yes agree with everyone. This is a great image the rusted orange reflecting the the sunlight is striking. It provides a warm friendly memory to past experiences that most everyone shares. Rusty Lorry detail is a special image.   Posted: 11/21/2020 21:42:37
