About the Image(s)

Yellowstone National Park has so much to see we tend to photograph the popular locations. e.g. Old Faithful. This photo was captured from an area that was void of people. Beautiful scenes are everywhere at Yellowstone. Note the bear scraping or scrapping whatever on the tree bark, lower right side. Because grizzly bears are in the park, I stayed close to the car.

Yep! The missing bark on the lower portion of the tree seems to indicate the presence of grizzly. Nice shot with clouds movement. Perhaps I would cut the last tree on the right. Nice composition.

Nice scene with good blend of earth colors and capture of the stream. Great cloud movement. I would also crop out the last tree on the right. Well done.   Posted: 10/12/2020 16:10:10

Rather than crop out the tree on the right, try cloning it out so that all of the other trees remain...One simple stroke down would eliminate the bright tree trunk...However, if you did this you couldn't enter it in a Nature competition...great clouds...   Posted: 10/17/2020 15:09:29

A very nice landscape of Yellowstone. Indications of the bear having been there recently would require caution. Yes Yellowstone is an amazing place for Photography. Spent 8 days in late September and all the bears were hybrinating which did give me a sense of more freedom. Still we avoided getting too close to all wild life. Visited Yellowstone when PSA had its conference there - great opportunity.   Posted: 10/18/2020 10:21:50
