About the Image(s)
Fan Club 2011
This was taken in 2011 when I got my first real camera at our local pier in Florida. I am going back to my old photos since I have not been out shooting. Some adjustments in PSCC. Hope all are well.

The patience of a pelican. Food is coming.   Posted: 09/10/2020 13:53:06

My first thought was the pelican has taken ownership of fisherman's punch drink. The bright red shirt really pulls your eye in. A fun photo. Thanks for sharing.   Posted: 09/14/2020 11:56:14

Not sure just what you are trying to say...perhaps a side view would increase interest in the scene....but, sometimes one has to shoot for the moment, and doesn't have time to arrange the scene for a better composition.   Posted: 09/14/2020 12:46:36

I agree Nothing special about the photo - but needed one so this photo came up. As Dave said - just a fun photo.   Posted: 09/14/2020 13:11:49

I tried to see if there was something to work with this image. I used a radial highlight over the bird and put the rest of the image in shadow. then suggest a humerous caption would give the image some interest. another option would be to crop in from top and some of the right side.

Interesting image, bu I do agree with Shirley. A somewhat different angle might have been an improvement as I find the rod crossing the image is somewhat distracting as well.   Posted: 09/16/2020 10:03:58

Agree. Thanks for the comment.   Posted: 09/24/2020 12:03:44
We don't get many pelicans here. Certainly a fun picture, but the red is overwhelming. The others are right, had you the time an opportunity, a different angle would have been better.   Posted: 09/30/2020 13:24:32
