Saguaros in the Sonoran Desert by Dave Edwards

May 2020 - Saguaros in the Sonoran Desert

About the Image(s)

Timing is everything. It was getting close to sunset and the whisky clouds were rolling in. I managed to grab a few photos before the sky turned back to that solid blue that is typical for this desert. I can spend all day photographing the desert cactus, especially the gigantic saguaro. Scene is located in Mesa, Arizona.

Stay well!

Very nice capture of the desert...not easy to get clouds in a scene too....the lighting on the cactus is perfect...   Posted: 05/03/2020 15:42:05

Lovely use of the early light. You made the desert look beautiful.

I like the composition but may I suggest cropping out that lonesome cactus on the far right?   Posted: 05/05/2020 09:40:06

Another WOW!. I feel like I am there in the desert. Well done. Perfect lighting and the desert colors all complement each other.   Posted: 05/08/2020 20:01:59
