Street Colours, Dingle, Ireland. by Richard Harper, EPSA

October 2019 - Street Colours, Dingle, Ireland.

About the Image(s)

I came across it on a visit there. There had just been a heavy downpour of rain, then the sun came out. The road in front of the cars was awash with water, hence the color reflections, and there was still a few heavy clouds hanging around. Dingle is a street in the centre of Ireland.

Nice catch between the rain drops so to speak. The line up of the cars adds interest. I am confused by the conflicting, angled parking lines. Are the cars parked correctly or are in the wrong direction. I used PS CS5 to darken the image somewhat.   Posted: 10/05/2019 19:53:53

These are colors we don't often see here in the US..except maybe San Francisco...Good that you were able to get the clouds which add to the scene.   Posted: 10/10/2019 22:39:27

Colorful and unique, reminds me of Iceland which has colorful houses and small cars parked everywhere. The rain/moody clouds add to the overall image. Very nice.   Posted: 10/11/2019 12:50:50

the colors of the houses, cars and the reflection in the street all add to an interesting image. Topaz Sharpen is very effective.   Posted: 10/11/2019 21:08:54
