About the Image(s)

Another picture from our visit to the Black Country Museum in May. This guy was working at a furnace with heated metal blocks. I took this picture during his tea break, As you can see from the original, I did not get it straight, so I have straightened it and cropped. In PS I converted to Balck and white and added a tint.
Olympus OMD EM1 Mk 2, 12-40mm at 17mm (equivalent to 34mm)

Nice catch of this gentleman on break. I seem to like the rich colors in the original version better, but that's just me.   Posted: 10/05/2019 19:46:54

I only put it into Mono because I need new titles in both PIDM and PPPDM. I might try it as a colour image for future competitions. Needless to say, I will need to correct the list to starboard in the original!   Posted: 10/07/2019 10:14:49

I love the mono image....I think it gives a stronger statement of the man and what he is doing...it could almost have been taken a hundred years ago....   Posted: 10/10/2019 22:35:41

Like the gentleman's pose, looks so relaxed and makes me think of a Coffee break (not tea) as it is my beverage of choice when relaxing. I too prefer the color version, I think the colors add to beauty of the image. His character shines through. Nicely done!   Posted: 10/11/2019 12:47:06

I prefer the mono photo. It look like an old photo. Well done.   Posted: 10/11/2019 21:04:23
