About the Image(s)
While out on a boat trip, we found this group of turtles sunbathing on the log. I did some cropping and brought out the colors a little and increased the contrast.

Nice nature shot. This captures the environment in which they live as well as telling a story about how they live. You did a good job of processing and cropping. This would be a good image to accompany an article on the boat trip, the body of water or even turtles.   Posted: 02/04/2021 10:01:31
Very well done with the color, contrast and sharpness. The shadowy area presents the turtles to best advantage. As Mike points out, you have the whole story here: water, a big log and lots of turtles sunning themselves seeming without a care in the world. I must, however, call you out on one thing: where is the social distancing and masks?   Posted: 02/05/2021 15:20:49
They were arrested after I took this picture...LOL   Posted: 02/05/2021 23:05:11
Nice group of turtles. They look healthy and have good color. Most of the times we see these turtles all in a raw, but I suppose they did not have sufficient room. Interesting reflections down below. I would think that this could be a longer panel with more room on both sides.   Posted: 02/06/2021 10:51:30
I kind of didn't like the branches at either end which is why I cropped tighter.   Posted: 02/06/2021 16:09:06

Nice Stuart. I left it as is for the reflection. I do like the crop as well though. Thanks.   Posted: 02/14/2021 19:48:29
Fun capture. The crop works well as it showcases the turtles and the rippled reflection. One suggestion I will offer is to create a light vignette in the corners to create focus on the turtles and ripple.   Posted: 02/15/2021 08:26:36
