About the Image(s)

I was driving down some backroads near Amana, IA and came across this Appaloosa having a nice roll in the grass. I took it into Photoshop and did some color adjustments and removed the wires using a combination of clone stamp and Content Aware.

This is the mother of all butt shots! Nice job of removing the wires. The brush and fence in the background and overall the grass frames the horse nicely. The colors look natural. The whites in the "hind quarters" seem to be a bit blown out. Good portrayal of a horse relaxing and going with the flow.   Posted: 01/12/2020 07:23:05

How funny! Nice color enhancement, and the background fades away nicely so the focus is on the horse. Very good.   Posted: 01/20/2020 12:10:47

What a great shot of this horse. An excellent job of removing the foreground fence - - I wish I knew how to do this as well as you have done here. He obviously knows what he's doing so let him do it. Nice capture.   Posted: 01/23/2020 20:06:24

Marti, this is typically of you, to find and capture an unusual shot like this. Other than what Jerry, Peggy and Al said, I think he needs a set of shoes.

Joe suggested the title: A Real Horse's Ass. LOL-good one.   Posted: 01/24/2020 20:22:11

What a fun shot! Great job of removing the fence lines. The colors on the horse, fence posts and bushes appear to have a purple cast on my computer. I have a new IPAD Pro 12.9 (which I am falling in love with), so I feel comfortable the colors I fairly tru. I'm wondering if the saturation needs to be reduced a touch for that color range.   Posted: 01/27/2020 09:07:07
