About the Image(s)

The original was a 20 sec. exposure. I ran it through Corel Painter, partly in auto-abstract mode: Back in Photoshop I cropped and made selective adjustments to: saturation, brilliance and lowered contrast to taste.

Peter,
I admire what you've come up with. So much more interesting than the original.
Since I have no acquaintance with Painter, except that I bought it a couple of times and gave up on it quickly, I can't comment on your choice of filter. The colors are great and the distortion of the lines works for me. The only thing I would suggest is to turmthe the channel back to blue. Right now it looks like a desert creeping in and parches my mouth. Good work. Really creative looking.   Posted: 04/13/2021 16:45:54

Peter, I like your original image which is very strong but I love your manipulated image which is a cracker. I love the abstract, surreal feeling to the picture and the colour palette which works perfectly. The granular effect adds to the overall visual dynamic. I am always drawn to images where they are the stimuli to crystalize interpretation in the mind's eye. Well done.   Posted: 04/26/2021 01:28:05
