About the Image(s)
The original image was taken with a Canon 100mm Macro lens. It was taken of a Christmas Cactus flower hanging next to my dining room window. It reminded me of a swan or Canadian goose in flight.
After taking it through Topaz AI sharpen, I placed a texture on top at 60% and positioned the moon between the "V" of the wings, then painted in the flower, increased the texture to 100% and finished painting in the flower. Finally I reduced the opacity of the brush and painted out portions of the wings center to give it a transparency look.

Fred I really wish I had your imagination!!!
Very well done and an etheral feeling to it all. Love the colours you have choses.
Only thing that I would change is the part under the "swans" neck which I think is part of the original flower. I wonder if be better to paint it out and let the texture through in that area? Just my opinion!!

Hi Angela. I thought about doing that, but then thought that I wanted viewers to realize that it is a flower, so left it in.   Posted: 03/01/2023 08:18:28

Very Creative...and nice colour pallet. Wonder if your main subject/s would stand out better if you added a vignette...just an idea.
Well done!   Posted: 03/01/2023 20:31:03

Whimsical image, Fred. Your vision of the cactus flower is inspired. Creative allows a useless image (sorry) to be made into a fantasy dream, and yours is fantastic. I love the color choices too.   Posted: 03/08/2023 10:05:15
