About the Image(s)

I really wanted to show another image this month, but I forgot to show this Xmas image last year. This tree of glass tubes was in Burano, Italy. I turned my Pixel 3 photo of its base and reflection upside down, and added saturation and a filter for a festive effect.
I was surprised to see a Xmas tree displayed in Sept. and wonder if it's a permanent display. Perhaps one of you will recognize the location and know.
I hope to return to Venice and Burano one day.

What an amazing glass tree. You have skilfully cropped and the result is great and to my eye could pass as plastic drinking straws.   Posted: 12/01/2020 09:59:38

Thanks. Any ideas for alternative textures or other filters with Topaz?   Posted: 12/01/2020 11:39:49

This is super! A wonderful colorful image to brighten a dismal day here in Texas. No improvement is possible for this image! I think it is your best entry yet.   Posted: 12/02/2020 13:48:57

Thanks. My favorites change frequently, but I do favor colorful, happy images.   Posted: 12/02/2020 16:41:17

Very well done...the colors of the straws are vivid and captivating....many places to look at....Leaving space at the top really adds to the image...   Posted: 12/06/2020 14:31:33

Thanks, I just need to add a stroke of gold.   Posted: 12/06/2020 14:58:22

I really like this one. I have no suggestions. I think your crop, colors, etc. are on the mark.

Thanks.i have more fun now that I can roughly previsualize what my large array of filters may do when applied to a specific image.

I just got another idea for this tree based on what I just did for another image. There's no end it and that's great!   Posted: 12/17/2020 16:31:51

Love this one. Bright, Colorful and Cheerful. Just what we need right now. Reminds me of Chihuly.   Posted: 12/20/2020 10:52:00

I love Chihuly art glass, but Burbank, IT is the home and birthplace of blown glass. Chihuly rightly looks up to more than one of its artists. I hope to have a lengthy visit there sometime soon. 1922?   Posted: 12/20/2020 13:25:34
