About the Image(s)

I wanted to give this image a painterly effect. After basic adjustments in Lightroom, I opened the image in Corel Painter. I applied different brushes and differeent brush strokes, added texture to walls, etc. Restored some of the original photo to bring out the detail.

I like the overall effect and the local details. I agree with your judgment throughout.
My only minor preferences would be to darken the bright white on the bottom a tad and lighten her face a tad.
Beautiful.   Posted: 10/03/2020 21:04:56

Funny you made those suggestions. After trying to download and change the image size so many times, I actually didn't send you my final picture.. this was the one before the final and I did make some of the changes you suggested. Thank you for your comments   Posted: 10/09/2020 18:15:20

This is a beautiful impressionistic version of the Ballerina giving a lovely delicate and ethereal view of her. I have Corel Painter somewhere in my computer but could never seem to get the hang of using the brushes so gave up on it and stuck with Photoshop. After seeing your results I now wish I had persevered!

I like the final effect, but, were it mine I would perhaps crop some more of the very bright white area on the bottom....It really dominates the scene....The overall effect is very nice.   Posted: 10/17/2020 14:54:55
