About the Image(s)

Saw this old rusty can on an old dilapidated Caterpillar engine...put it into Photoshop and found this effect in Elements somewhere, but I don't remember where....

That's a very interesting and colorful transition from a rusty old can.
I'm impressed. Too bad you can't remember how you achieved it - you might want to repeat the technique on a different image.   Posted: 11/06/2019 08:50:47

To me this looks like an appropriate and interesting use of a neon glow filter. It emphasizes the texture nicely. The border colors work well.
I would prefer to see the can slightly to the left with more shadow on the right.   Posted: 11/10/2019 19:16:39

Great effect Shirley. I love all the textures that this has now introduced into the image. The colors are now fantastic.
At the bottom right of the "can," there is now a very bright rectangular portion. My personal preference would be to either tone it down some or even, perhaps, clone it out.   Posted: 11/11/2019 10:15:04

Excellent transformation with a selection of interesting choice of textures. Very effective.   Posted: 11/14/2019 02:41:40

Wow what a transformation from an image of basically one colour tone - brown. Amazing to get all the different colour in your final image although a bit overdone for my taste. (Thats being very English you know!)   Posted: 11/20/2019 10:46:47
