Bee on Pink Orchid by Pat Couder

About the Image(s)

Applied a texture, blended in using photoshop, layers/masks and decided to keep the pink orchid stronger and the purple flower faded to simplify. Really not sure this image works.

It certainly works for me. From a very successful original image enhanced further by some judicious use of Photoshop etc producing a beautiful final image - very well done.   Posted: 10/01/2019 13:57:31

This image does work for me. I love the softness and seemingly transparency of the purple flower. For me, the image would not be the same without the purple flower or muted background. And the resultant removal of the greenery really simplifies the image to it's most important components.   Posted: 10/02/2019 09:17:46

Oh, but it does work! It's a lovely image! Once the dominant green and dark areas are removed you have a winner with the dreamy pale purple background supporting the pink flower and bee. Don't change a thing!   Posted: 10/02/2019 16:21:40

Very creative and extremely attractive. Fantastic! Etc. etc.
Perhaps Hallmark should consider using an occasional bee on its cards.   Posted: 10/02/2019 18:05:08
