About the Image(s)

One of the 365 assignments for May (31st) was PEANUTS......Now, it just so happens that I have this book so it was perfect for the assignment.... bought a package of whole unshelled peanuts and a new jar of peanut butter, put them all together with Snoopy holding a peanut in each hand....It got a lot of cute comments when I shared that week's images with friends...

Note: the creative techniques are very subtle...so thought the original wasn't needed...

Well, your image sure lives up to the title! I'm sure Charles Shultz would approve of your treatment. Because of the subtlety of your creative technique you are just this once forgiven for not providing an original.   Posted: 06/04/2018 20:11:02

Actually the only creative effect, which is very subtle is the use of one of the background effects in Topaz, Texture. So, submitting the original would not have been very visible. I erased the peanuts and book from the texture filter which left a nice effect on the background.   Posted: 06/04/2018 20:21:10

I like this image and creativity of concept very much. For my personal taste, however, I might have made this more "in your face" creative by having the lower peanuts appear to fall out of the frame. I made a very quick, initial attempt to do this, and it's attached here. Of course, I respect your personal vision of what you wanted this to be. Your vision should always take precedence.   Posted: 06/05/2018 18:59:56

This brought a smile to my face. Very well done. No suggestions.   Posted: 06/09/2018 17:24:44
