About the Image(s)

Remember when we use to go outside? Image is from Senior Baseball Tournament held at Sun City Festival. It was take with Canon EOS 5DSR (Sure I know it is mostly a landscape camera but sometimes you do what you have to :>). The exposure was in manual mode with settings of; f/5.6, 1/1000 sec, ISO 200, 300 mm. The player is named James and is very athletic.

What a great catch for both the photographer and the softball player. The player and the fence are both nice and sharp. You might want to process to soften the background vegetation a bit. I like the shadow, it makes it clear he is right at the fence and he really is reaching up to rob someone of a home run. That ball must of been over the fence. I don't know if you know this person, but I bet if you could get him a copy it would end up hanging on his "wall of fame".   Posted: 05/08/2020 08:38:41

I think it is a great shot. I like the horizontal lines in the picture -- green, pink and yellow on top of the fence. Then you have the pattern from the fence and the foliage behind the fence. I agree with Stan, the foliage could be blurred a little to soften it. And then you have James, the star. You caught him at the perfect moment and everything is sharp. I can almost hear the roar from the stands!   Posted: 05/08/2020 21:31:16
