About the Image(s)

This was processed in LR/PS. I took the photo in color then converted the image to monochrome but left the subjects in color to make them stand out from the background and added a bit of blur to the skates to show some movement.
I took the shot at a NYC skating rink while doing some street photography…the position/expressions of both the child and the adult struck me as an almost iconic image of the timelessness of a child learning a new skill!
