About the Image(s)

This is an image of my pet steer Atticus in all his massive glory. I auto adjusted the image in Snap Seed and then upped the ambiance a tad. I opened the image in Touch/reTouch to remove some debris in the field. Then opened the image in Distressed FX and used wren background and lade texture to give his portrait an olden painterly feel.

An excellent image. I really like the way you processed this image. It was good right out of your phone, but it is great now. The colors in the grass and background really do the job. From your processing comments I am assuming this is a cell phone image. My image this month is also.   Posted: 10/07/2019 09:57:52

Great Image!...Atticus's eyes make the photo. I would have preferred the background in the original...would you consider make the background in the revision a bit darker?--my own eyes tend to go to the light color which I find distracting in looking at Atticus.   Posted: 10/08/2019 13:53:10

You have done justice to Atticus. I think you could hang him portrait on top of your fireplace -- he appears so lord of the manor. In my opinion, your processing was successful in achieving this look.   Posted: 10/14/2019 10:45:26

I like the way you have treated this portrait of Atticus. A fine looking specimen I must say. As Norm says the eyes make the photo.   Posted: 10/16/2019 04:19:46

Wonderful image Harriet. I love the treatment creating an obscure background so the focus is entirely on the bull. He even posed for the photo with his stance :)   Posted: 10/16/2019 08:49:06
