About the Image(s)

Peeling paintwork and a few shapes. I liked the colours but I did up the saturation a wee bit.

Totally abstract, meaning I can't figure out quite what this is. I assume it is a wall, but what are the two figures on it? In any case it is well done and it looks like a John Hackett image. I envy you for your unique style, I am sort of an "all over the map guy", but I am starting to feel I have a style, or maybe only two or three of them.   Posted: 10/07/2019 10:09:54

I love the peeling paint and the shapes they make. The two larger rusty shapes anchor the wall or floor?? Color and shapes in my opinion make this abstract so beautiful and interesting.   Posted: 10/14/2019 10:36:26

Thank you for the comments. Maybe I should have given a little more detail as to what the subject is. It was taken at a museum of mechanical excavators, and is a decaying part of some abandoned plant awaiting possible restoration. The oval area is recessed into the pink coloured plate, while the bolt head is seen through a hole in the plate.   Posted: 10/16/2019 04:17:29

Interesting John. I would likely have walked by without seeing the image. Great job identifying the abstract art.   Posted: 10/16/2019 08:44:58

The harmonious rosy tones of this abstract is beautiful. I have no subjections.   Posted: 10/20/2019 10:22:39
