About the Image(s)

How I did It: Well, I guess I have to admit that this is an old slide. It must have been created from another slide and the background handled in some way as to get this effect. I was going through old slides and seeing what I could scan in at this late date when I ran into this. It was clearly worked on in some way I have no longer any idea what I It was. It was during the time when we were still competing with slides so I must have had a slide made of the final result worked on in Photoshop, which is this. I wish I could
remember what I did. What I like are the swirls around the touch points and there brown sweeps in the upper right. If anyone has any ideas what I did, please let me know.

Well I am all for looking back into old slides, scanning them and then seeing how we can use the latest technology to create something new. But in this instance you appear to have just plucked what was probably a 'slide sandwich' and presented the finished article. I know from last months splendid flamingo image that you have more talent to share with us.   Posted: 03/08/2023 09:36:24

A wonderful image and a great creation from an old slide. I guess it must have been a Kodachrome slide as the colors still look great. I like the image as is but I made a revision with a little more sharpness and contrast and with a reduction in the background noise.   Posted: 03/09/2023 09:24:49

Jim, T his looks better, much sharper. I was having trouble with Topaz Sharpen AI, so I ended up buying it again. That was stupid, bug something you just give up dealing with manufacturer. I was curious how I got the colored swirls to the upper right. It was not a sandwich, but it could have been something I did and then had it remade into a slide, since at the tine there was no digital copy. at that time.   Posted: 03/11/2023 18:06:06
