About the Image(s)

The original isn't bad - it is a picture taken in a shop window many years ago (again). I thought I would give it a different treatment using the "AI Van Goch" filter in Corel Painter Essentials 7.

Andrew, I really like the result I, am a big fan of Van Gogh, but I am not such a big fan of using just a painterly filter to create a creative image. I do think you should add something too make it your own creative image. Nevertheless, it is an outstanding effort and really appears painterly and Van Goghish.   Posted: 03/04/2023 18:47:34

I am not familiar with what Corel painter offers but I am certain that this image is not the result of just applying a filter, but having the skill to know the type of image it will work with and how to adjust it for your favoured result.
This is a splendid piece of work.   Posted: 03/08/2023 09:18:20

Yes it required quite a bit of fiddling with settings, then lightening in PS as it was a bit dark.   Posted: 03/08/2023 15:00:16

A beautiful treatment Andrew and it suits the subject well! The blue tone aids her melancholic mood!   Posted: 03/11/2023 09:09:33
