October 2020 - Glasgow reflections

About the Image(s)

A shot in Glasgow in the rain. Another in-camera creative but taken deliberately this time. I have just tweaked this slightly, little in the way of post processing. It won't do well in a competitions but I thought it quite attractive especially with the red stripe. What do you
think?

Yes it just goes to show that creativity doesn't always need Photoshop! Well seen and recorded. I agree that the red stripe is an important element. Great image.   Posted: 10/04/2020 00:02:30

Well seen reflection. i would just try saturating the reds a little to give a bit more impact.   Posted: 10/09/2020 13:10:55

Extremely clever and well seen ! Maybe add a tiny red border?   Posted: 10/09/2020 13:45:27

I find this very interesting, and would suggest adding contrast and clarity to make it pop. That may also draw the attention of judges too.   Posted: 10/10/2020 18:16:58

I think this is just wonderful and I keep working my way around the image to find new secrets. I agree that a little touch of saturation might help the red pop and make this stripe the star of the image. Other than that I wouldn't change anything - it's intriguing.   Posted: 10/11/2020 21:56:08

Thanks for the comments. I agree about adding a bit more zip. My only thought was whether to clone out the two isolated red "dashes" on the fight hand side.   Posted: 10/12/2020 07:18:09

Andrew I really like the strong horizontal and boxes. The colors are really unusual for a water reflection as well. The red dashes do not bother me because there is so much to see in this picture - love it   Posted: 10/12/2020 10:26:28
