About the Image(s)

The original tree was taken in the New Forest, and the other images in the local park. The tree was again treated to Topaz Simplify Cartoon Natural II, and the deer and crows pasted in at 90% opacity,

Great composition with the birds absolutely essential. All elements well cobined. The catoon effect works but has just added a strange pink tinge to parts of the sky. I find this often happens with Topaz presets and it is why I generally apply them at a reduced opacity.   Posted: 10/09/2020 13:17:49

Lovely image and I agree that the birds really help here. I like how the deer has also been reduced in intensity so it doesn't look too stark. One thing, I notice that the light on the deer (from behind left) doesn't match the light on the bushes (from the right).
