September 2020 - Shadow glass

About the Image(s)

Just noticed this image right after I poured my wife a glass of wine. Straightened and cropped.

this has a real air of mystery with an obvious shadow, well contained in the frame against a plain but textured background. My first thought was that this would be nice as a monochrome as it has a film noir feel (mystery, suggestion) but I tried it and it didn't work. I think this is well spotted and nicely captured.   Posted: 09/13/2020 06:14:18

A good images captured at home. I feel perhaps it needs a bit more contrast, to me it looks a bit flat.   Posted: 09/13/2020 08:33:32

Well seen. Had you had your own glass of wine by this time? I personally wouldn't change the contrast. I like the texture. Maybe next time she could hold the stem?   Posted: 09/13/2020 12:06:57

Just proves you don't have to go far from home to take photograpghs. Well seen but it is the texture that that adds the touch of crativity.   Posted: 09/14/2020 03:33:58
