About the Image(s)

The original image was a simple portrait shot taken through purple netting material that had a little sparkle in it.
The image has been cropped and converted to monochrome in Nik Silver Efex, with a strong pull on the contrast and some gentle painting with a black brush to create some shape definition.

I think this is a superb image , particularly in B & W as it has a ghostly effect. Maybe work on her right eye a bit to make it more prominent ..   Posted: 09/04/2020 12:14:52

They eye for me is what brings the whole image together. Without its' prominence against the other elements I don't believe that the treatment would work nearly as well.   Posted: 09/04/2020 12:56:40

I agree with Mike, but I'd like to see the highlights on the cheek reduced a bit to give even more emphasis to the eye. ****   Posted: 09/04/2020 14:58:32

Just to clarify, I was talking about HER right eye, not the one on the right side !   Posted: 09/08/2020 13:02:00

A very creepy ghost-like effect. It's shown here against a black background - do you think it needs a border?   Posted: 09/13/2020 07:40:06

I think the mono image is great and have no suggestions as I think the image is superb as is.

Lovely image but I do agree that it would be improved if you could remove the texture effect from the eye.   Posted: 09/14/2020 02:45:48
