About the Image(s)

Original 1 is an early morning shot in Dorset, given the usual
haze removal, and lighting adjustments. I also find Artistic filter poster edges set to zero, gives a
subtle sharpening, without adding noise. I had also visited Abbotsbury Swannery, and though it
might be interesting to cut and paste the hut in at 75% opacity. I then treated the resultant image
to Topaz texture effects abstract sketchy.

Living in the desert for 16 years, I have only faint recollections of seeing heavy frost.   Posted: 03/04/2020 08:50:55

Thanks Jerry. We have been getting less recently, just months of rain!   Posted: 03/08/2020 11:35:24

Love what you have done to this image. It has a painterly feel and wonderful subtle colours.   Posted: 03/07/2020 10:42:22

A most creative and 'lovely' scene. and I think it would be good in B & W too

Thinking up the idea of combining these images in the first place is a great credit to your imagination. The result is a very pleasing image and one would not have know that it did not just look like that anyway.Well done.   Posted: 03/10/2020 15:08:16

Nice effect especially in the backgound. I don't much like the immediate foreground though - all those twigs detract for me. Maybe just crop it off.   Posted: 03/15/2020 09:30:28

I think the two images work well together but I wonder if the image would have more interest if cropped tighter as in my revision.   Posted: 03/16/2020 08:49:06

I realise the flowers & branches on the tree/bush on the left seem to point towards the shack. Perhaps, the mist over that area can be placed back in, so that the hero of the image is the shack.   Posted: 03/19/2020 02:25:51
