About the Image(s)

This started out as a simple hole in a tree with something that looked like an eye. I cleaned it up, duplicated the eye and placed it appropriately and added a small border

I feel it would work much better in colour, but that's a matter of taste again.   Posted: 10/03/2019 10:11:51

A good idea which could be improved by making the eyes more prominent.   Posted: 10/08/2019 13:17:59

I can see where you are going with this image as there are often wonderful shapes to be found in tree trunks. For me it is the out of focus are to the left of the 'nose' that lets this one down. Could you se some selective sharpening there?   Posted: 10/11/2019 03:26:53

A spooky tree edit. Perhaps bring out the textures, like into 3D would be interesting to see the difference.   Posted: 10/16/2019 08:43:49

I see it if I study it a while, but it's not really apparent soon enough. I had a go at burning the "eyes" to make them more visible (pun intended), and sharpened the fuzzy bits some:   Posted: 10/19/2019 00:26:47
