About the Image(s)

For me it was playing-with-colors time! There was this one picture with legs that won’t really work in its plain way. Sometimes I just like to give up the reigns to PS and see, if it can pull something eye catching or colorful out of it.

Therefor I put my picture in various layers on top of each other and used the blending modes (like “saturation” and “exclusion”) and the filters (for example “stylize “ wind” or “polar coordinates”).

And there was a lot of playing with the color dynamics and enhancements.

I made a collage to show you the various progresses “ but at least this main pictures (colored legs) worked for me best. What do you say?

When I first saw this I thought it had been taken with a camera at water level, with the top half in the air and the bottom half submerged. A lot of hard work in this, which has been rewarded with a colourful off-the-wall image which works splendidly. I think out of all the revisions, the one you have chosen works best!   Posted: 03/05/2019 13:26:54

I , too, agree that this version is the best ......Might consider darkening the bright area just to the right of the dark elbow. top left ...........   Posted: 03/11/2019 17:10:13

Not so fond of the black jacket but overall a fun effect. The dark boots are an interesting contrast.   Posted: 03/21/2019 04:50:54

I'm sorry to be a spoilsport, but this just does not work for me. I'm not even able to articulate my reasons very well. I guess the main reason would be I don't find a story here. I think I need some of Ian's pills . . .   Posted: 03/23/2019 13:16:18

Kerstin you must be on the same pills as me!!
Very psychedelic but Like Tom I'm not convinced it works. For me it is the horizontal bar which is the problem, so I would crop squre leave just the two pairs of legs.   Posted: 03/23/2019 13:42:56

@Tom: I don't mind and you don't need any pills, because this is somehow my usual state of mind. You really don't want this ;-)!

Thank your for all your comments and advice :-).   Posted: 03/31/2019 11:26:26
