About the Image(s)

Original taken last week during a visit to the Royal Armories in Leeds. I could not resist taking these colourful chairs and tables with the idea of some outrageous manipulation in mind.
After adjustments in camera raw and slight cropping I firstly sharpened agressivly - amount 310, Radius 76, threshold 5. Then took it to Topaz Glow using the Blazing Neon preset but tuning it to my preference. Final touch back in PS using inner glow for the blue border.
Am I taking too many pills!!!?

I think that the effect you have created was well worth the effort! If this is the result of the pills, I'll have some of what you're taking!   Posted: 03/01/2019 11:51:36

You had a good vision. I'm sure if someone saw you capturing your photograph they would have wondered, "Why"?
I think you adjusted the Topaz sliders just right. Perhaps the horzontal line at the top could be darkened though.
I don't think either of us are taking too many pills, but I am often thought of that way.
This is one case that I don't suggest straightening the image.
Good work. Keep having fun with your photos.   Posted: 03/03/2019 10:59:14

Jerry, I took several shots in this area and yes I did receive some strange looks especially as there are so many magnificant artifacts and displays in the museum.   Posted: 03/04/2019 03:36:25

Very creative effect, I really like Topaz Glow and it works very well here.   Posted: 03/21/2019 04:44:09

From terribly mundane to terrifically magical! I especially appreciate that you had something outrageous in mind while you were capturing the images. Make sure you renew that prescription! d;¬{D   Posted: 03/23/2019 12:59:00

You made some casual into some glowing - the colors are great and an eye catcher in the best.   Posted: 03/31/2019 11:29:04
