This image titled "Caddo Lake Fog" was taken in October 2021 at Caddo Lake in east Texas. This body of water is an enormous cypress swamp and one of the few natural lakes in Texas. During our 4 day workshop we were out on the water each day at 5 AM. The main attractions are the colorful cypress trees wrapped in the early morning fog as well as the beautiful sunrises and sunsets.
Technical: 1/400 sec, f/5.6, ISO1250, 70mm

Hi Glen, Absolutely beautiful and if mine it would go up on the wall. The highlight of the image is the orange leaves of the cypress. The surrounding foggy background emphasizes the main subject nicely. This is a lovely image. The only suggestion I have would be to tone down the bright spots in the background so that they don't draw the eye to them. Posted: 03/09/2023 12:18:42
