About the Image(s)

Not much to say here. Image from a past trip to the California shore. I liked his attention, but overall the image is pretty ordinary.

Pretty ordinary squirrel. . . However, you did manage to get great detail throughout it. Also, having it sitting among its environment does tell a story. Perhaps too much foreground takes away some of its impact. Crop just above the greenery at the bottom?   Posted: 06/09/2020 13:42:39

Good toning and detail for the squirrel. I like the composition. The stalks on the right and the detail in the background are a little distracting.   Posted: 06/09/2020 18:26:52

Yep, it's just a squirrel but nevertheless well photographed. Great catchlight in the eye which helps the feeling that it is on the lookout. I don't mind the stalks on the right or the background - they help set the scene.   Posted: 06/10/2020 03:22:46

Very nice capture of the animal with good detail in the fur and and eye. The foreground and background are too busy and too bright.   Posted: 06/13/2020 09:12:05
