About the Image(s)

The original image has had a bit of an artistic touch done to it in Corel Painter Essentials. Just a bit of fun to see what could be done.

Interesting, John. At least in my humble brain it lacks a center of interest or a message, but the post-processing is intriguing and stimulates thought of what else one might do with it on a more engaging subject.   Posted: 12/03/2019 15:46:49

I'm with Dick on this one. Kudos for the creative post-processing but the overall image leaves me wanting more. Perhaps starting with a more interesting subject and then applying this technique might work.   Posted: 12/04/2019 08:57:07

It's always fascinating to see what this kind of software does to an image. But I'm not convinced that in this case that it added to the original image which had some potential anyway. Nevertheless, it's fun to look at but I also feel that might work better cropped so that it is more of a portrait shape.   Posted: 12/05/2019 07:35:07

I think the colors in the image work well together, and I like how the brightness covers the range from white to black. However, I'm having trouble finding elements which hold my eye in the picture. I applaud you for trying something different - I need to do more of that myself.   Posted: 12/08/2019 11:22:15

An interesting amalgamation of shapes and colors. It definitely leaves a lot to the imagination. Not my style but glad you had fun with it.   Posted: 12/12/2019 10:55:24
