About the Image(s)

Last week in August my wife and I spent few days in a valley 50km from home. There is a mountain Village called Strmec. There's just a road and some houses with slope above and under the road. There are beautiful Mountains behind. We have cached falling sun. Otherwise it's a more usual landscape.

Nikon P900 at 24 mm on built in lens, manual exposure 1/500, F5, ISO 100. Perspective correction, crop, highlights, contrast improvement with levels and curves, everything in Photoshop Elements.

Very nice shot. I liked the composition. Your post processing is excellent as you could bring the details in shadows. The road, buildings and the mountains looks great with the blue sky. Nice colors and sharp image. Good work.   Posted: 11/19/2020 11:35:19

The brightly lit houses, the mountains, and the sky are beautiful. I would crop out all the dark buildings on the right, and the buildings on the left, to the left of the red roof, and make it a vertical image.   Posted: 11/19/2020 17:20:18

A good line of buildings near, mountains mid distance and sky far distance. Good straightening the buildings.   Posted: 11/19/2020 18:15:54

The mountains are beautiful. Nice detail in them. I do enjoy that you straightened the building on the left. For me, I would prefer to see more detail in the dark area on the right so I could get more a sense of the curving road.   Posted: 11/20/2020 16:30:35

Wonderful image. I like the way you lead the viewer into the entire scene!   Posted: 11/27/2020 10:58:00
