About the Image(s)

This photo was captured 10 minutes after last month's photo. Church was then in shadow but the colors of the sky became beautiful. Those who have already read Distinctive Image in September PSA Journal, could see some other Slovenian landscapes. Some I have also sent on the PID study group in last years.

Nikon P900 at 100 mm on built in lens, shutter priority 1/30, F4, ISO 100. Crop, gradient filter, contrast improvement in Lightroom, selective noise removing and sharpening with Nik.

Beautiful mountains with sunset color. Good to bring out the several buildings in the shade. Your country is amazing.   Posted: 09/07/2020 13:16:34

You got an amazing image of the sunset on the mountains right out of the camera. Your editing to bring out the features in the valleys made it even better. The only change I'd like to see is to rotate the image a little to the left. The buildings and mountain range are leaning a little to the right.

Congratulations for being chosen the PSA Distinctive Image artist for September. Beautiful photos.   Posted: 09/08/2020 18:05:16

This is another eye-popping image, Bogdan. If only I had thought to visit your part of the world before the pandemic! I thlight you have captured on the mountains is in my opinion spectacular.   Posted: 09/13/2020 16:04:26

Excellent image. Nice colors. The image is sharp and your post processing is very good. No suggestions, as the image looks spectacular sunset image.   Posted: 09/18/2020 12:45:16

Beautiful image. There is such a large contrast between the village on the left side and the one on the right side that my eyes bounce back and forth between them to the point that the village on the right side looks artificial to me. I don't remember seeing this in your image last month. My suggestion would be to crop out or clone the villages. The mountains and sky are incredible.   Posted: 09/18/2020 20:03:54
