About the Image(s)

This photo was taken recently in a Minnesota Game Preserve, hand holding my I-Phone 11 Pro Max. The first edit was done using the phone's built in camera adjustments of exposure, brilliance, highlights, shadows, contrast. saturation, vibrance, sharpness and noise reduction. I then moved it into Photoshop CC and changed some of the adjustments on my laptop's larger screen. My final step was to crop and resize the image.

The two bears are well posed. The angled trees provide good framing. Excellent.   Posted: 09/07/2020 13:15:55

Interesting image. The composition looks good. To me, image quality is compromised. Does your camera permit to take images in RAW format? I think it is better to do the editing in photoshop in a computer rather than in mobile itself. The quality decrease may be due to processing in mobile itself. The original looks better to me.   Posted: 09/18/2020 12:08:02

Kathleen, WOW to capture two bears in such a great surrounding! I think the composition and your handling of the bears work well. I do feel that the color and texture of the tree in your original is stonier because of the saturation of the color. I also like the composition in the original image better. It seems to give both bears a little more play room. How exciting that you were able to capture this with your
I-Phone 11!   Posted: 09/21/2020 16:41:34
