About the Image(s)

This photo was taken iPhone 11. I caught this rainbow just as a minor storm passed by. All postproduction was done by the new Luminar AI by Skylum. the Skylum gliders are fun to use. So far no glitches and easy to us

Hi Rick, what a unique and colorful moment. The pink and blue of the sky, the rainbow and the golden light on the ground. The ground is quite bright and it make help to darken it a little bit   Posted: 02/07/2021 14:28:44

Hi Rick! This is breathtaking! The golden hilltops and buildings stand out contrasted by the different shades of purple and blue in the sky. I think it look like they were illuminated and protected by the arch of the rainbow. The shades on the hillsides (or mountains?) give a sense of depth and distance. It is so beautiful!
I acquired the new Luminar AI, too, but have not so far gotten quite comfortable with the presets. Do you use them a lot?

Hi Rick! A very colorful shot, with the building's on top of hills and a great sky. My only suggestions would be to crop out some of the sky and to maker your boarder thinner .I use a 3 pix size and put it in white. I have the Lumina Ai and I think it's great.   Posted: 02/14/2021 14:36:31

I can't believe I did it again, removed your image Stuart. I don't have your email address, sorry , so won't be able to get the image back. Although it makes sense to crop the sky, it also is the whole point of the image, so I would leave it. The only other suggestion I have is the darken the golden ground area a bit as it doesn't look at all realistic to me. The image as a whole is very beautiful, great colors and you were so lucky to find it. Your new iPhone is working so well for you, Rick.
I'm glad you gave only a small emphasis to the land and chose the wonderful sky as your real subject.   Posted: 02/19/2021 17:07:49
