Fractured Bronze Portrait in Outer Space by Rick Finney, APSA

August 2019 - Fractured Bronze Portrait in Outer Space

About the Image(s)

The basic image is a portrait of a bronze head off a much larger body. I took this image to an app in my iPhone called “Fragment” which fragmentized the image. I then transported this image into PS and placed it on a star field background. Transported the image into Topaz Studio and used AI Clear on it. And lastly I gave it a digital frame to finish it off.

Visiting from 48 & 80. This is a superb image. My only suggestion when submitting images like this would be to include the original just for the viewers edification. Well done.   Posted: 08/10/2019 13:01:03

Dear Beverly:Thanks so much for your comment. I believe this was the original image ... I can't be sure as I have many shots of this guy's face because he is our favorite bronze.   Posted: 08/12/2019 12:29:17

Oh wow! So you were really creative with this one! I like it and never would have made the connection to the original. Love the background. Edgy!   Posted: 08/12/2019 13:57:05

I knew he looked familiar. You have managed to use an app I've never heard of to great appeal. Use of the star field really sets this off as does the frames with he same colors as the image. They eyes really catch your attention. Good that they weren't fragmented, as well. Very creative job, as usual, Rick.   Posted: 08/23/2019 13:18:07
