About the Image(s)

I like this location, very dramatic, so I hired two models and did a shooting in this location. The lighting was not good, too harsh. First, I processed the picture in color, but I was not satisfied. Now I process it in monochrome, and I hope to get it better.

Indeed you have a very good location here and you have captured as well as processed the image well. I see very good sharpness all over the image that I find full of fine interesting details and I think converting to monochrome has put a bit of more focus on the so well posed couple.

Personally I feel there is too much of sharpness and detail in the background that makes the models appear to be somewhat part of a beautiful urban scene than to be the main point of focus in the image. If it were mine, I would crop a little at the bottom and throw the background a bit off-focus to concentrate the viewer's attention on the loving couple.   Posted: 01/06/2020 14:55:28

What a nice scene. For me this image in black and white is a winner. I like the feeling of having clear focus throughout the image. Several things bring the attention to your models. First is the dominate size and presents of the couple. The pollards of the wall and the horizontal top railing all lead my focus to them. Finally the steepled building showing through the railing pointing up to the couple. Finally the couple themselves displays a soft romance between them with the hands together and his hand resting on her arm with the heads together. Sorry this is so long, but this photo is so realistic with such feeling I had to say something. Great image!   Posted: 01/06/2020 21:50:11

What a great job staging this photograph - all elements do a great job of keeping my eye in the photograph. I think it was a good choice to go black/white as well. The only thing that bothers me a bit, is the building intersecting the gentlemen's neck. Other than that - I believe the photograph works!   Posted: 01/08/2020 12:00:04

This image is well staged. It makes me think that it is a moment in time in a romantic movie. It has a great background, and the models have been posed excellently. I very strong image.   Posted: 01/13/2020 20:51:34
