Welcome to our study group. Thank you for your comment. It was a fun trip with plenty of photographic opportunity. I will be sharing some more images from this trip over the coming months.

What a lovely landscape. The soft focus gives it the appearance different from a standard photo, which may have been your intend. My only negative would be the blurring of the buildings along the river above the second bridge. I am not familiar with some of your software. The yellowish building to the left really draws my eye to it.   Posted: 12/04/2019 14:20:52

I am not familiar with the Nik Color Efex Pro software and it seems to me that you have quite a hand on expertise in this. I think it is well done conversion of the original image that itself was very beautifully captured. It is an image to enjoy absorbing the details of various elements.

I tend to agree with Bill regarding the building on the left and perhaps toning it down will put more attention to the bridges.
All the best for the holidays.   Posted: 12/05/2019 13:04:05

Your good eye for lighting, color, along with soft focus, and composition do make this image into a very painterly image. If it were mine, I would add a slight circular black gradient centered on the image to emphasize the boat and help hold the image together even more.   Posted: 12/09/2019 16:39:53

Postcard worthy photograph! I like the circular black gradient effect suggested by Larry and the soft focus and painterly feel. Seems it's not often a landscape isn't intended to be tack sharp throughout. You clearly know when to break the rules . . . That said, starting with such a beautiful view didn't hurt. Well done. Happy holidays!   Posted: 12/10/2019 19:51:56

Hi Gregory this image remind me of Pittsburgh. I have been in Pittsburgh when we had PSA conference 2 years back... It was a great event and i certainly enjoyed that. The city of Pittsburgh happens to be known as the city of three rivers..   Posted: 12/20/2019 15:04:22
