About the Image(s)
This photo was taken at the Brookfield Zoo, during one of their holiday exhibits. I had the camera on a tripod and moved the barrel of the zoom lens forward to create the light trails.
Canon 7D; 1.0 sec.; f/11; ISO 2000 16mm
Steps taken for image:
1. Cropped to create a panorama effect.
2. Adjusted lighting, using Lightroom.
3. In Photoshop, used the paintbrush to hide the buildings that were in the top of the photo.
4. Resized for PSA website and sharpened.

This is a good use of the zoom technique to create light trails. The panorama crop works so well.
Do you have an image where you did not zoom. I am interested to see how different the image looks as a learning excercise.   Posted: 11/05/2020 10:51:16

The original image does nothing for me and yet the zoom shows the power of thinking a new way of showing lines etc.   Posted: 11/10/2020 05:14:07

Ditto Tim's comment about the original image not being that exciting but you have done well to make a graphic light shot by the zoom technique. Bright colours against a black background and a good abstract.   Posted: 11/14/2020 08:10:41
