Lines in the sky by Steven Wharram, LRPS

September 2020 - Lines in the sky

About the Image(s)

There was a time, earlier this year, when contrails like this were very rare in the sky, with so much air travel being banne or suspended. This was taken about a month ago when air travel was returning to parts of the globe. I liked the way they blended with the electricity cables.

What I did:
As usual, I've kept any manipulation to a minimum
A slight crop, otherwise SOOC

Very cute, and the stop makes it POP as it adds a wonderful dash of colour.   Posted: 09/09/2020 21:09:15

Wow, so many lines! Good creative take on the subject, and the red sign against the blue makes everything pop.   Posted: 09/10/2020 14:44:11

Hi Steven, that is a lot of lines, very well spotted, the more you look the more you see, I like the variety of the different types, perhaps we all need to look up occasionally, been a while since I have see jet trails in the sky.   Posted: 09/21/2020 05:58:13

great juxtaposition of various types of lines. Good job of seeing a pattern that most people would miss.   Posted: 09/21/2020 13:40:13
