WINDOWS for the ENTRANCE TO HAMILTON'S GENERAL HOSPITAL by Timothy Morton, APSA

June 2020 - WINDOWS for the ENTRANCE TO HAMILTON'S GENERAL HOSPITAL

About the Image(s)

If one looks with care you can see me image creator though the door's WINDOWS and thus my view on the assignment.

Taken on my first of three visits to my now dead father this past APRIL so this image as an emotion impact on me with the only editing was to re-size for size to met our requirements.

You've captured the unsettling feeling always felt when entering a hospital   Posted: 06/12/2020 16:42:00

A very poignant image Tim. The words are prominent and say a lot - Visitor, Restrictions, Caution.   Posted: 06/18/2020 05:46:45

Hi Tim, The reflections in the door and the notices posted on the door and walls gives you lots to look at, shows nothing of what lies within.   Posted: 06/20/2020 04:55:44

Hi Tim,
Hoping that every day gets a little brighter.
I give this capture the title of "The Visitor", with your reflection being a large part of the work. The way your shadow is slightly blurred just reinforces the message of the uncertainty a visitor often has when visiting someone in a medical facility and is reinforced by the medical equipment inside the door. It is a nice capture.   Posted: 06/22/2020 20:52:59
