About the Image(s)

This is an old Gum Tree on the banks of our local River - the Murray , I have photographed this tree several times from different angles, I like this one in mono, looking down towards a bend in the river.

A classical landscape capture with the quite river, and makes me feel like wondering if I could go for a swim or full of creatures which would have me for breakfast or lunch or dinner.

Lastly perhaps see if the tourist board or be interesting in selling postcards of this location as I sure it would sell provided their are enough tourist and being B&W one not to worry about the new colour of the year etc.   Posted: 03/10/2020 08:20:58

Lots of detail and a beautiful nature subject make this photo a standout. The sharpness throughout, combined with the lines and curves of the composition are eye-catching and effective.   Posted: 03/10/2020 15:20:57

A great image and very sharp throughout. I suspect that the background, in the centre, was very bright and could have blown out. However, the use of B&W has meant that it is not as noticeable as it just produces shades of while. Lovely image.   Posted: 03/15/2020 09:36:58

the monochrome treatment is a perfect way to emphasis the beauty in the arrangement of limbs.   Posted: 03/18/2020 10:40:44
