What makes it are the colours, and allow us to see meaning of the marriage in a distance land and thus well done, and hope she didn't mind her image pf for the world to see.

I find that the initial impact of the image is amplified by the bright red and gold colors. I think the focus is perfect with good use of aperture to produce a pleasing bokeh quality. I like that there are a number of leading lines from the arms and the draped clothing that lead to the point of interest. I do find that the bright areas of the hands and arms draw my attention away from the bride-to-be's face. My only suggestion for improving the image would be to try and use a burn tool to reduce the brightness of the arms and to shine some light on the girl's face, subtly so that the light direction seems natural.   Posted: 08/14/2019 10:05:09

Hi Fat,
I had to look this up, but in Indian tradition, the color red signifies purity, joy and celebration, all of which is in this picture. And it makes one want to investigate further to know what is happening. This moment in the young woman's life on the verge of a new chapter is a great capture. I may have cropped a little more off the bottom removing that persons arm and use a burn brush to lower some of the highlighted areas on her nose and his arm.

Great capture.

Hi Fat,
What wonderful vibrant colours, placing the hands and the forehead in the area of the upper third, your eyes are drawn to this spot, the girls downcast eyes adds to the traditional feel of the image.   Posted: 08/20/2019 07:11:06
