An interesting take and love the details.

Since we know what this not a wallpaper pattern from a McMillan & Wife and for those not familiar with the series one can surf over to https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/McMillan_%26_Wife   Posted: 10/10/2018 07:36:38

I have a hard time recognizing this image as an onion, but perhaps that was the point! I can't tell if the image is of overlapping slices or just a close up of a halved onion section. I am tempted to go cut through a red onion I have downstairs to see if I can recognize this view.   Posted: 10/10/2018 17:25:47

Hi, Paul,
It is a close up of a halved section. I'm not much on food photography, but love macro, so decided to play around with this.   Posted: 10/14/2018 13:22:38

I think it is very interesting and makes me wonder how an onion forms when it is growing   Posted: 10/14/2018 14:13:57

Hi Barbara, what a lovely abstract macro, it is sharp where needs to be and the colours pop nicely.
the filling of the frame, the curve of the lines and the square crop really enhance and make the image.   Posted: 10/16/2018 04:35:37

Hi,
This is a nice closeup, and I enjoyed the curve and angle in the composition. However, I didn't know what it was until I read your notes.

Food is the subject and you identified this close up where the texture of an everyday items is revealed.   Posted: 10/24/2018 21:35:50

A great abstract on the theme. The lighting and the colour is very good and makes it as an image.   Posted: 10/25/2018 05:27:33
