About the Image(s)

On Locke Street in my hometown of Hamilton, ON (Canada) their is a upscale DONUT SHOP called Monster Donuts.

This one such box, which I took with my p/s as I didn't have my DSLR as I was not planing on doing anything for my boses, so I shot this as didn't use my corporate cell/mobile phone as it's not good idea.

Thus opened the capture in Adobe Photoshop Elements where I re-sized to the requirements of STUDY GROUP and then fooled around with the UN-SHARP MASK once HAPPY saved with a new name in JPEG for sharing with you something which not really FOOD unless one is not on a diet.

My only comment would be that you might want to play around with the white balance. The image seems really yellow to me and I would have thought the icing of some of the donuts would have been white. That being said, I wish I had one to eat.   Posted: 10/10/2018 17:13:12

I will take that note, and the bottom right one was a great treat.   Posted: 10/10/2018 18:21:26

Beautiful photo, Tim, and makes me want one! I like the detail and composition, and the missing two on top.   Posted: 10/14/2018 13:24:11

Hi Tim, I must agree with Paul re the white balance, however the image is sharp and pleasing to the eye, and I find myself thinking which one would I pick.   Posted: 10/16/2018 03:37:58

Hi Tim,
Love the donuts. They really fulfill the "food" category. I like the finger dent in the frosting on one of the donuts. What adds to the photo is the missing donuts. The image is very sharp.
I know it is said that having words in the photo can distract from the image, but that is not the case for me in this work.
I think what can help is to get the color balance corrected as there is an overall yellow/orange feel to the photo where the donuts seem to blend into the box color.   Posted: 10/24/2018 21:13:29

Agree with the others re the yellow tint and white balance. The missing two make me wonder - who had them?   Posted: 10/25/2018 05:13:55
