Florida always has such interesting wildlife. I don't remember the name of the bird but I always thought it was odd having that paddle shaped bill. I like the red and pink colors with rest of the photo. The eye really focuses what they are doing.   Posted: 11/06/2019 21:09:34

Gavin, the proper name is Roseate Spoonbill. They feed by moving their bill back & forth in the water, sucking in food.   Posted: 11/25/2019 16:56:58

Perfect composition and perfect depth of field. Yes, they were probably just feeding, but the interaction between the birds make them look like neighborhood gossips. Very well done.   Posted: 11/07/2019 10:36:30

A great image with tack sharp detailing of the birds. I like the way you have captured the foreground too adding contrast to the birds and the smooth water behind them. Amazing pink colour of their feathers which matches their eyes! Fantastic image...well done!   Posted: 11/18/2019 16:24:25

So interesting to see 2 differing views of their "faces"! The bird on the left is so sharp that I can see all its details. I've heard of this kind of bird but not seen one. The birds are gorgeous, and it seems ironic that they like being in such unappealing (to me) water!   Posted: 11/25/2019 19:12:45
