October 2020 - Silver Lake Overlook

Back in October, 2018, I attended the PSA Conference in Salt Lake City. I spent one day after the conference hiking around nearby Silver Lake which was already covered with an early snowfall. The white snow brought out the yellow aspen foliage and presented many landscape photo-ops!
This image was taken handheld with my Nikon D750 plus 24-120mm Nikon lens at 24mm, 1/640 sec, f/11 and ISO320. In ACR, I increased vibrance, clarity, and contrast, while reducing highlights. In PS, I cropped in to eliminate uneccessary detail.

The overall image is an awesome shot except one comment I would like to have is the bottom portion is a bit too tight in the composition allowing another say 1ins space will definitely give an image a super view. Posted: 10/19/2020 19:26:15
