About the Image(s)

We were in Annapolis in Sep. I went in the Naval Academy Chapel and took some pics. This one was shot at 1/60, f3.6, ISO1000 with my Fuji X-t20.

It's nice to see the Chapel on the inside - I've never been there.
I realize you had constraints on what was in the picture and what was "out", but what doesn't work for me is how the arch at the top is cut in the middle -- maybe a wider lens would have worked, or crop down some more. Or maybe if you could have taken the image from a lower viewpoint, showing more of the ceiling -- I don't know, I wasn't there !!
Thanks for sharing it with us.   Posted: 10/13/2019 03:41:44

Rich, thank you for sharing this image of the inside of the chapel. I like the stain glass window. It would have been nice to included the complete arch... Still a very nice image of the stain-glass window.   Posted: 10/13/2019 15:16:58

A well-composed interior image! The stained glass window and columns are nicely centered in the vertical format, and the posts at the ends of the pews act as a leading line to take the viewer into the picture. There are also no distracting elements (such as tourists walking around!). However, I think the image is a bit too tightly cropped - I would have included the top of the arch in the scene.   Posted: 10/18/2019 13:25:49
